The 21st Amendment is scheduled to be presented to the Cabinet tomorrow, 23rd May 2022, according to Minister of Justice, Dr. Wijedasa Rajapakse.
Changes proposed include strengthening the powers of the existing Commissions and making them independent, the appointment of the Governor of the Central Bank to be under the Constitutional Council etc.
