Increase in fare of highway buses. The National Transport Commission (NTC) has announced the new fares of the luxury buses which use the highways. The new fares are listed below:
Colombo – Matara : Rs. 1,210
Kadawatha – Galle : Rs. 1,000
Colombo – Embilipitiya : Rs. 1,680
Colombo – Weeraketiya : Rs. 1,550
Colombo – Monaragala : Rs. 2, 420 Makumbura – Akkaraipattu : Rs. 3,100
