A decision has been taken by the All Island Canteen Owners’ Association (AICOA) to increase the price of certain items and accordingly the prices of Koththu, fried rice and lunch packets have increased by 10%.
The three-wheeler and bus fares were increased yesterday.
The All Island United Container Transport Owners’ Association have also stated that there will be a 35% increase in import and export freight container transportation charges.
