The Meteorology Department has issued a weather advisory for 10 districts due to heavy rain and strong winds.
The weather advisory will be in effect until 9:30 a.m. tomorrow (31), according to the department.
The current showery condition over the Southwestern part of the island is expected to improve slightly over the next few days.
Heavy rains of more than 100 mm are expected in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and Central provinces, as well as the Galle, Matara, and Puttalam districts.
