An early morning car collision claimed the life of a young man who was standing in line close to the Pandulagama gas station in Anuradhapura.
Following his collision with a truck carrying large machinery, police reported that the young man passed away instantly.
A 19-year-old Thambuththegama resident was revealed to be the dead.
The victim, according to the police, was in line for gas on the left side of the Anuradhapura-Puttlam Road.
