The 21st Amendment had been tabled and passed by the Cabinet yesterday, June 20th, 2022.
The 21st Amendment proposes the repealing of the 20th Amendment, explicitly reducing the
powers vested with the President and it also recommends the re-enactment of the 19th
Amendment to the Constitution, whereby more power is given to the Parliament.
The 21st Amendment is expected to be tabled in Parliament soon.
