On Friday, a delegation from the Sri Lanka Food Processors Association, which represents those involved in food preparation, distribution, and sales, among other things, met with Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa (17).

According to Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, Sri Lanka is currently experiencing a man-made disaster, and the people are suffering as a result of myth-based decision-making.

According to the Leader of the Opposition, the country is now suffering the consequences of giving tax breaks to government cronies, and when Sri Lanka’s ratings dropped, the government blamed it on an international conspiracy.

Many people are suffering while waiting in lines to buy necessities, and some are dying, but the government offers no solutions, according to Sajith Premadasa.

The Leader of the Opposition stated that the country would not move forward in this state, and that the only way to change things is to hold an election.
