Yet another shooting incident was reported this evening and that of a 38-year-old male who was gunned down at Kolonnawa.
The man was shot by two masked males who arrived on a motorcycle without license plates, according to the police, who then fled the scene.
The victim was declared dead upon entry to the hospital, according to a representative for the Colombo National Hospital.
More than ten people have lost their lives in the recent past due to several incidents of shooting in different parts of the island.
