An additional Sri Lankan family lost their breadwinner while they were waiting in line for petrol.
Last night, while waiting for petrol in Darga Town, Aluthgama, a 53-year-old father of two died after being struck by a vehicle.
The report stated that when the incident occurred, he was getting ready to leave the gas station and drive home.
The lorry’s driver, who was traveling to Mathugama, turned himself into the police this morning.
