Former Finance Minister and Founder of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna has resigned from Parliament.
Furthermore, he had withdrawn from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna’s National List in order to make way for a more suitable candidate to enter parliament.
“Today, I speak to you as a normal citizen,’ he told reporters in Colombo.
