The creation of a Food Security Committee has been proposed in a cabinet paper.
The Ministry of Trade, Commerce, and Food Security proposes to appoint an officer from state food production agencies to the committee in its Cabinet Paper.
By meeting with the appropriate heads of institutions, the committee is required to examine the food supplies on the market.
