It is reported that with prevailing crisis of acute fuel and gas shortages etc, the President and Prime Minister have been asked if a curfew or lockdown would be needed.
The Prime Minister has stated that this would not be necessary since more fuel shipments are expected to arrive in the island next week.
Due to the ongoing crisis, the citizens have been greatly inconvenienced by having to wait long hours in queues to obtain fuel and gas. The lack of these has resulted in protests erupting in several areas where protestors have obstructed roads whilst demanding fuel and gas.
The day-to-day affairs of most individuals and organizations too have been greatly hampered due to this shortage.
