Due to limited availability of stocks, diesel will be distributed only on a priority list to a few selected petrol sheds.
It is reported that although another consignment of diesel has been ordered, the suppliers have not yet confirmed the supply of that consignment & the arrival of the diesel ship which was scheduled to reach the island on the 9th or 10th of June is now uncertain and the current stock will have to be managed strategically.
