Minister Harin Fernando said today that tour vehicles registered with the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) have been classified as essential services.
The announcement, according to the Minister of Tourism, was issued in response to a request he made to ensure tourist transportation.
He added that individuals in need of additional information can get help by calling the Tourist Emergency Hotline at 1912 or 0112 437759.
