On Thursday, February 23, a special session regarding the lack of medications in hospitals is set with the provincial directors of health services.
In order to address the problems in hospitals and find solutions to the medication scarcity, meetings will be held with the directors, according to Janaka Sri Chandragupta, secretary of the Ministry of Health.
Zoom will be used to host the conversation this morning.
The Secretary stated that hospital operations have not been hampered by the lack of medications by stating that contributions of medications are also coming from Australia, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
The gasoline issue, he adds, has not stopped doctors from reporting to work.
