“India will provide Sri Lanka its all-out support as a close friend,” Indian Foreign Secretary to President

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has been informed by the Foreign Secretary of India, Vinay Kwatra, that India, as a close friend, will provide Sri Lanka with all of its assistance in resolving the challenging issue.

On Thursday(23) in Colombo, the president and the Indian foreign minister met.

Ajay Seth, secretary of the Department of Economic Affairs in the Indian Ministry of Finance, Dr. V. Anantha Nageswaran, chief economic adviser to the Indian government, and Kartik Pande, joint secretary of the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) in the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, are in attendance with the foreign secretary.

The group, which was examining the relief previously given in the form of fuel, medication, fertilizer, and other necessities, stated that the Indian Government is dedicated to helping Sri Lanka.

The President expressed gratitude to the Indian government and people for their aid to the nation.
