Indian ship carrying humanitarian aid arrives in Sri Lanka

The ship carrying another consignment of humanitarian aid donated to Sri Lanka by the Indian people arrived in Sri Lanka today (24).

The humanitarian aid includes 14,700 metric tons of rice, 250 metric tons of milk powder and 38 metric tons of medicines.

The total value of the humanitarian aid is estimated at 3 billion Sri Lankan rupees, according to the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka.
