Rappers Kanye West and Lil Durk will be featured on Cardi B’s new song, “Hot S***,” the American rapper has announced. The 29-year-old rapper announced the news on Instagram by sharing a cover photo of herself with the names of the trio—Cardi B, Kanye West, and Lil Durk. According to Variety, the cover image showed Cardi B lying on the back seat of a car wearing gold clothing and silver pointed high heels.
The rapper from “WAP” had a bob haircut, making her tattoo of a peacock quite obvious. With three fire emojis, Cardi B captioned “Holy S*** starring Lil Durk & Kanye West.” Cardi B admitted that her solo single “Hot S***” had not been published “for about three years” and was considerably older than her well-known hit WAP during an encounter with fans on Twitter Spaces.
The rapper explained the delay by stating that the lack of a music video for the song had her on the edge of “trashing the song.” “This song, in my opinion, predates “WAP.” It is a favorite of everybody “According to Variety, Cardi B remarked. Cardi B said of the song, “The record is really macho too,” and she also insisted that it was longer than three minutes.
The rapper also praised West and Durk, praising them for their outstanding verses in the song. According to Variety, “Hot S***” precedes Cardi’s eagerly anticipated second full-length album, which will follow her 2018 debut “Invasion of Privacy.” She then went on to release a number of joint projects over the following years, including the massive tag team with Megan Thee Stallion, “WAP,” and her most recent appearances, the drill tune “Shake It” (with Kay Flock, Dougie B, and Bory300) and the duet with Lizzo, “Rumors,” from 2021.
This year’s July 1 release date for “Hot S***” has been set.
