It has been decided by the Cabinet to amend the minimum age of migrant domestic workers to 21 years.
Currently, the minimum age differs based on countries and regions. Taking this fact into consideration, a proposal was presented by the Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment to amend the minimum age.
This proposal was accepted and approval has been granted to amend the minimum age to 21.
