The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) said that the ship carrying 40,000 metric tons of petrol which was scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka on the 23rd was scheduled to arrive on Friday (24) but the arrival of the ship would be further delayed.
The exact date of the ship’s arrival has not been mentioned yet and the Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera has stated in a Twitter post that he will inform about it later.
The Minister has apologized on his Twitter account for the recent statements made by him regarding the delays and the date of arrival of the ship.
