According to Ranil Wickremesinghe’s chief of staff, Sri Lanka has 11,000 MT of diesel, 5,000 MT of gasoline, 30,000 MT of furnace oil, and 800 MT of jet fuel on hand at any one time.

According to him, 38,000 MT of diesel would be delivered between July 11 and July 15.

Ratnayake stated that until the fresh shipment arrives in the nation, the current Diesel inventories will only be accessible for necessary functions.

He continued by saying that there won’t be any problems with the gas supply because Litro would purchase 100,000 MT of gas over the course of the next four months, with shipments of 33,000 MT coming on July 6, 10, 16, and 19, 21, and 31.

The World Bank will assist Litro in purchasing LP Gas, and the purchase deal will be signed on Wednesday (29) or Thursday (30).
