In response to the current Roe v. Wade abortion law, singer and actor Selena Gomez said she was “simply not happy” with the US Supreme Court’s decision.

Gomez said that everyone should do all in their power to ‘alter’ the US Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the abortion ban during the premiere of her mystery-comedy series “Only Murders in the Building,” according to Variety.

“It concerns voting. It’s about encouraging males to speak out against this problem and stand up for themselves. The number of wounded women is another factor. I just don’t feel joyful, and I think we can remedy that by doing everything in our power.” the singer insisted.

Selena mentioned Planned Parenthood, a US nonprofit that offers reproductive health care, when discussing one of her most recent Twitter postings, according to Variety.

Selena emphasized the significance of a woman’s rights and referred to the Roe v. Wade abortion ruling as “horrific.”

“It is horrifying to witness a constitutional right being taken away. Women should have the freedom to decide how they want to use their bodies. Story over, “The “Back to You” vocalist acknowledged. According to Variety, Martin Short and Steve Martin, Selena’s co-stars from the movie “Only Murders in the Building,” joined her on the red carpet.

Three strangers who are passionate about true crime stories are the subject of the television show. But one day they discover themselves inside one. The first two episodes of the second season of the show will debut on the ITT platform HULU on June 28.

The preceding August 31st saw the premiere of season one. Daniel D’Addario, a television critic, even gave Selena high marks for her acting in “Only Murders in the Building,” describing it as her “career-best” effort.
