Shipment of petrol further delayed. Minister Kanchana Wijesekera has stated that the shipment of 40,000MT of petrol has been further delayed.
The shipment was expected on 23rd June 2022 but due to a delay it was expected to reach the island today but now the supplier has informed the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation that it would be further delayed.
The new date of arrival is expected to be confirmed later today.
