The first match of the Test cricket series between the touring Australian team and the Sri Lankan team begins today.
It will be at the Galle International Stadium at 10 am.
Sri Lanka Cricket has announced that the match starting today will be dedicated to the memory of former Australian cricketer Shane Warne.
The tournament is also known as the Warne – Murali Trophy.
Sri Lanka will be led by Dimuth Karunaratne while Pat Cummins will captain Australia.
Sri Lanka won the one-day cricket tournament between the two countries by two-thirds.
