The University of Uva Wellassa has temporarily suspended all in-person academic activities as of today 29th June 2022, until further notice.
Prof. Jayantha Lal Rathnasekara, the University’s Vice-Chancellor, stated that the decision was made as a result of the current fuel constraints. He stated that lectures would still be delivered online.
The research projects of the students in their final year will continue uninterrupted, according to Prof. Rathnasekara.
