People caught and handed over a 42-year-old lady who attempted suicide by throwing her 5-year-old son into the Kelani River from the Kadirana Bridge that connects Wattala and Mattakkuliya.
Police said the child was missing, And a search operation is continuing with the help of the Sri Lanka Navy.
Further investigations are being carried out the Wattala Police.
