75 are admitted to the NHC after today’s confrontations. Conflicts broke out today, injuring at least 75 people, including security forces, according to medical sources.
According to them, 33 people were treated at the Colombo National Hospital after this evening’s altercation between demonstrators and police personnel at Polduwa Junction close to Parliament Roundabout.
In the meantime, during the stressful situation this morning opposite the Prime Minister’s office on Flower Road, 42 people were admitted to the NHC.
According to hospital reports, some of the victims had critical wounds.
