A group of students traveling in a lorry collapsed on the floor and were rushed to the hospital

Thirteen children have been hospitalized after a lorry carrying a group of children collapsed in the Galenbindunuwewa area.

The children had gone to school in a small lorry yesterday (30) morning due to traffic congestion due to the fuel crisis.

However, the deck of the lorry collapsed due to the large number of children traveling in the lorry and it is stated that 37 students were traveling in the lorry at that time.

One student had a broken leg and 13 others were hospitalized.

Two students have been admitted to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital.
