Bus rates will change. According to the Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association, the drop in fuel prices will result in a change of bus tariffs.
Anjana Priyanjith, Secretary of the All Ceylon Private Bus Owners’ Association stated that adjustments must be made in accordance with national policy.
Gemunu Wijeratne, the Chairman of the Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association indicated that if fuel is received properly, he is willing to change the bus fares.
