Circular on state workers’ attendance, extended.

Published:

Another month has been added to the circular that limits how often government workers can be called into work.

In this case, M.M.P.K. Mayadunna, who is the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration and Home Affairs, has signed a new circular.

The circular says that the decision was made after taking into account how hard it is for government officials to get to work. It also says that the circulars should not be used in a way that makes it so people don’t go to work.

This doesn’t stop people from being called in to do tasks that can’t be done online that are needed to keep important public services running.
