Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, a film directed by Karan Johar and starring Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh, and Alia Bhatt, will premiere during the Valentine’s Day weekend of 2023. The film was being shot at a rapid pace in preparation for its February 10 release.
Now, we have learned exclusively that the romantic comedy centered on a family has been delayed. The film directed by Karan Johar will now be released later in 2023.
According to a source, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani will not be completed by the end of February. “In consideration of Alia Bhatt’s pregnancy, Karan has delayed the filming of a crucial scene.
Originally scheduled to shoot in August, the director will now shoot the scene in question once Alia Bhatt returns to set after giving birth. In the first quarter of 2023, he intends to initiate this 10- to 15-day schedule with Alia. A source close to the situation revealed that the film’s release date has been pushed back due to the delay in filming.
Alia will film with Karan and Ranveer for three to four days in July before taking an extended break. She will return to the set in early 2023, and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani will be the first film she works on after giving birth.
“Karan Johar directed Alia Bhatt’s first Hindi film, and he will now also direct her first film after giving birth. It is a group decision, and everyone on the team agrees with it. The new release date will be announced shortly as Karan and the company has yet to finalize their plans, according to the source.
The remaining 10 to 15 days of filming will be completed in the first quarter of 2023, following the completion of the July schedule.
