Four suggestions from former Minister Champika Ranawaka to solve the current crisis situation. To build an all-party Government, the 43 brigade, led by former MP Patali Champika Ranawaka, has put forth four recommendations that must be adopted and agreed upon by all parties within the next week.
1. To achieve a strong alliance and a unified platform in order to approve the 22nd constitutional amendment at the best possible level.
2. The establishment of a decision-making Council for the proposed policies by the Leaders of the parties and independent groups in the Parliament.
3. Appointment of recognized experts to lead significant institutions. It is necessary to create an interim shared program.
4. Parliament should be given the chance to choose a new President within 24 hours after President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s resignation.
