Train services will almost certainly be disrupted, according to Sumedha Somaratne, Chairman of the Railway Station Master’s Association.
As a result, he claims, train service disruptions are unavoidable if the government does not take action.
“If this issue is not resolved, and if the railway service gets disrupted, the entire country will come to a standstill,” Somaratne warned.
