This week, according to the Ministry of Health, a new fuel access day will be designated for health personnel.
Janaka Shri Chandragupta, the Secretary of the Ministry of Health, stated that he has discussed this matter with the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).
Accordingly, he stated that a gas station register has also been prepared for the distribution of fuel to health care professionals.
In the meantime, a lack of fuel has caused many health care workers to experience inconveniences.
According to the health workers, due to the fuel shortage, some employees have been unable to report for shifts.
