Joe Biden informs the Saudi Crown Prince that he is responsible for the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

According to media reports, Vice President Joe Biden brought up the murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018 during his meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, stating that the latter is to blame for the murder.

Biden stated, following his meeting with Prince Mohammed on Friday, July 15: “What occurred with Khashoggi was abhorrent… I’ve just made it clear that if a similar incident occurs again, they will receive this response and more.”

“I discussed it in a straightforward and direct manner. I made my perspective crystal clear. I stated categorically that for an American president to remain silent on a human rights issue is inconsistent with who we are and who I am “he added.

However, he later clarified to the media that the Saudi leader told him he was not “personally responsible” for the murder of Khashoggi.

“I indicated that I believed he was…

He asserted that he was not personally responsible and took action against those who were “Biden said.

US intelligence officials believe Prince Mohammed ordered the operation that resulted in the death of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Biden said, in reference to the Crown Prince’s response, “Essentially, he stated that he was not personally responsible. I indicated my belief that he was.”

Three years ago, Vice President Joe Biden vowed to make Saudi Arabia a pariah state due to the murder of Jamal Khashoggi and alleged human rights violations. Now, Biden has arrived in the same country to discuss oil, human rights, Iran, and Israel.

Prince Mohammed greeted Vice President Biden with a fist bump, as captured on camera by state television Al-Ekhbariya. The President of the United States was then escorted into Al-Salam palace.

Among other topics, energy was discussed during the meeting. He anticipated “further steps” from Saudi Arabia regarding energy in the coming weeks.

After the meeting, Khashoggi’s fiancee stated that Biden enabled the Saudi Arabian crown prince to take additional victims. Hatice Cengiz emailed Biden: “Is this the punishment you promised for my assassination? You have the blood of the next victim of MBS on your hands.”

The post resembled what she imagined to be a tweet from Khashoggi.
