Ghaziabad: Jul 22 Police here say that a man stabbed his wife to death before jumping off a building to kill himself on Friday.
They said the man was worried about his wife’s job as a bank manager and attacked her with a knife.
The man’s father called the police, who came to the scene and rushed the injured woman to a nearby hospital. The doctors there said she was dead when she got there, and the police said the woman was named Kamya.
Later, the suspect, Vikas Meena, who doesn’t have a job, jumped from the second floor of the building, said Abhay Mishra, a Circle Officer in Indira Puram. He hurt his head and legs and is getting treatment at a hospital.
The woman’s body has been sent for an autopsy, he said. He also said that a forensics team went to the scene of the accident to look into what happened.
