Tom Bower, a British journalist, has written a new book entitled Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors, in which he reveals alleged secrets about the royal family, particularly the famous couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
In its most recent revelation, the book asserts that Markle was furious with Vanity Fair magazine for focusing her solo cover on her relationship with the Duke instead of her career or philanthropic efforts.
According to Bower, the actress was “ecstatic” when the September 2017 issue of the magazine wanted to feature her on the cover. According to Page Six, things went awry when the publication used the headline “She’s Just Wild About Harry” and glossed over her career and other aspects.
According to reports, Meghan was under strict orders from the royal family not to discuss political, social, or even her relationship with the Prince. Markle was convinced that the issue would cover the celebration of the 100th episode of Suits, which she communicated to Prince Harry. She also reportedly assured him that the media would not focus on her personal life.
However, events transpired differently. In the article, Meghan is asked about her royal romance, to which she responds “We’re a couple. We are deeply in love.” She continued, “I’m sure there will be a time when we will have to present ourselves and tell our stories, but I hope people will realize that now is our time.” According to Bower, the interview caused a lot of controversy in the United Kingdom and “sealed Meghan’s fate as Harry’s fiancee.”
