The Prime Minister should resign immediately – Party Leaders’ Meeting Discussions

At the special meeting held this afternoon (13) in Parliament with the participation of members of the Committee on Parliamentary Business and party leaders, it was discussed that the Prime Minister should resign as soon as possible in order to resolve the current crisis situation in the country.

The honorable speaker elaborated on the current state of the nation. The Chief of Defense Staff, the Commanders of the three armed forces, and the Inspector General of Police briefed the Members of Parliament regarding the current security situation.

As announced to the nation, H.E. the President informed the Honorable Speaker via telephone that the President’s resignation letter will be submitted before midnight tonight (13).
