SJB to boycott this evening’s Party Leaders Meeting. The Samagi Jana Balawega will not attend the Party Leaders’ meeting called by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today, according to Opposition Leader MP Sajith Premadasa.
In a statement, MP Premadasa stated that the public clearly wants President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to resign.
He also accused Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe of defending the Rajapaksas, who were cornered by public protests, and allowing their return to the political arena.
He stated that the SJB stands with the people and will support their struggle until victory is achieved, and that the SJB will not participate in any talks with the government.
