Sri Lanka declares 12th July a Day of Mourning for the death of Shinzo Abe

The Sri Lankan government has decided to declare July 12th as a Day of Mourning in memory of Japan’s late Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe.

On that day, the government instructs all government institutions to fly the national flag at half-mast.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Public Administration has announced that it will not be a public holiday.
