Statement from the Church of Ceylon. The Church of Ceylon has urged President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to resign immediately and form a truly representative interim administration capable of regaining the trust of the Sri Lankan people and the international community.
They said in a statement that the President should accept personal responsibility for driving the country into bankruptcy.
