A suspect who had stockpiled fuel in the Kilinochchi area was apprehended by police.
Police apprehended the suspect, a 25-year-old Kilinochchi resident, in possession of over 35 barrels containing 200 liters of Petrol, 6,400 liters of Diesel, and 25 liters of Kerosene.
The arrested suspect is scheduled to appear in Kilinochchi Magistrate’s Court tomorrow (04).
Police also stated that they arrested 13 suspects as a result of raids on those who stockpile fuel yesterday (02), and that they will continue to conduct such raids in the future.
