Lalit Modi, the disgraced former chairman of the Indian Premier League, has revealed a bombshell. He asserts that he is in a relationship with the actress Sushmita Sen. On his Twitter account, he posted photos with Sushmita and announced that he had returned to London from a world tour with his “better half” Sushmita. This sparked rumors that he had married the actor from “Aarya.”
In a subsequent tweet, Modi clarified that they are not married — at least not yet. “This too will eventually occur. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 “He composed.
Internet users are already creating memes and jokes. One individual asked Modi to visit India during his future honeymoon. Another individual stated, “Money can purchase anything.”
Modi is on the run from Indian law. In 2005, he became Vice President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), which brought him to prominence. However, his fortunes improved when he realized his lifelong goal of helping to establish an intra-country cricket league. It materialized in 2008 as IPL, which he oversaw until 2010.
However, shortly after the 2010 tournament concluded, he was suspended by the BCCI on charges of financial misconduct. Three years later, he was permanently banned after an investigation determined that he was responsible for the charges that had been brought against him.
Following the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) investigation, he fled to London. He has upheld his innocence.
