Today, 7,000 MT of fuel will be delivered. According to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), today will see the distribution of 7,000 MT of fuel across the nation. Accordingly, 4,000 MT of diesel and 3,000 MT of gasoline will be provided to CEYPETCO filling stations.
The use of the QR bases system for fuel distribution in the nation has not been decided upon in full, yet.
As of today and up until the go-ahead is given to implement the QR bases system for the distribution of fuel, fuel will be distributed from filling stations based on the last digit of the vehicle’s registration number, according to Kumara Rajapaksa, Chairman of the All Ceylon Petrol Station Owners’ Association.
