Urea for Tea Plantations: 20,000 MT. The distribution of 20,000 MT of urea fertilizer for tea planting has been decided upon by the Ministry of Plantation Industries.
The Tea Small Holdings Development Authority will distribute the fertilizer.
The distribution of urea fertilizer will take place through little-known tea estate associations and tea manufacturers, according to Tea Small Holdings Development Authority Chairman Thushara Priyadarshana.
The Chairman added that steps would be taken to offer farmers the necessary fertilizer at a fair price.
