Under the Indian credit line, 46 000 metric tons of urea fertilizer recently arrived in Sri Lanka. Yesterday, the shipment was transported to Colombo government storage facilities.
Since President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s administration issued a ban, this was the first shipment of fertilizer to arrive in Sri Lanka.
