The 75th anniversary of Independence Day will be celebrated with pride, according to President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s instructions.
The President’s Media Division states that arrangements have been made to hold the 75th Independence Day commemoration ceremony on February 04, 2023, at the Galle Face Green under the theme “Let’s rise together”.
Also, a project of 2000 houses for low-income families is to be started in Colombo and Gampaha districts on the occasion of Independence Day.
