Complaints about irregularities at petrol stations are on the rise

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka says that the number of customer complaints regarding irregularities in petrol stations is on the rise.

The Sri Lanka Public Utilities Commission states that they have received about 200 complaints and the commission has taken steps to resolve these complaints.

The Public Utilities Commission also stated that, despite being invited to a discussion about eliminating irregularities in Ceylon Petroleum Corporation petrol stations, they did not respond positively.

The Public Utilities Commission also stated that it has begun testing a sample of 60 petrol stations in order to cover all districts.
