Buckingham Palace has announced that the coronation of Britain’s King Charles III will take place on May 6 next year.
Foreign media reported that the 73-year-old King Charles is to be officially crowned at Westminster Abbey in London, according to a long tradition that dates back more than 900 years.
The palace confirmed that the king’s wife, Queen Camilla will also be crowned.
Following Queen Elizabeth’s death on the 8th, Prince Charles has traditionally been named King of September.
