According to the Police Media Spokesperson’s Office, a person was arrested with heroin worth more than 8 crore rupees during a raid in Beruwala’s Ambepitiya Diaswatta area.
The raid was carried out by officials from the Hikkaduwa Poisons and Narcotics Bureau, according to information received from the Navy Headquarters.
The arrested suspect is 42 years old.
